There’s a “BLOOD MOON” rising for Blumhouse/Hulu’s “INTO THE DARK” season finale

The 24th movie in the seasonal horror series is arriving just in time for the spring’s first full moon.

Blumhouse Television’s INTO THE DARK: BLOOD MOON will premiere March 26 on Hulu. Emma Tammi, who directed THE WIND and the previous INTO THE DARK entry DELIVERED, returns at the helm here, working from a script by Adam Mason and Simon Boyes (BROKEN, THE DEVIL’S CHAIR, SONGBIRD). Megalyn Echikunwoke (pictured), Yonas Kibreab, Joshua Dov, Marco Rodriguez, Gareth Williams, Jack Yang, Brian Norris, Patrick W. Day, Jan Munro and Danielle Juliet Ma star; the synopsis: When Esme [Echikunwoke] and her 10-year-old son Luna [Kibreab] move to a small desert town looking for a fresh start, they attract all the wrong kinds of attention. As the locals begin to probe, Esme must battle to protect her son and a terrifying secret before the next full moon threatens their very existence.”
